Lockheed Martin: appointments at Skunk Works and IFG

(CercleFinance.com) - Lockheed Martin has appointed OJ Sanchez Vice President and General Manager of Skunk Works and Mike Shoemaker Vice President and General Manager of Integrated Fighter Group (IFG).


As a reminder, Skunk Works is an advanced technology development group within Lockheed Martin, specializing in the design of secret and innovative military projects, while IFG is a division responsible for the development, manufacture and maintenance of several military fighter programs.

OJ Sanchez succeeds John Clark, now Senior Vice President for Technology and Strategic Innovation, while Mike Shoemaker succeeds OJ Sanchez.

They will work together to drive innovation and strategy across Platforms and Aeronautics, with a focus on air dominance and developing air power capabilities.

Sanchez, a former F-22 pilot, will lead the development of advanced technologies in classified military programs, while Shoemaker will oversee the manufacturing and sustainability of F-16, F-22 and other programs.
