Diageo: appoints future CEO for India

(CercleFinance.com) - United Spirits Limited (Diageo India) announces the appointment of Praveen Someshwar as future Managing Director.
He will join the company on March 1, 2025, and will take up his position as Managing Director and member of Diageo's Executive Committee on April 1, 2025, subject to the necessary approvals.

Currently Managing Director of HT Media, Praveen will bring a wealth of experience, including 24 years with PepsiCo in strategic roles.

Outgoing CEO Hina Nagarajan will join Diageo's Global Executive Committee after leading a period of strong strategic growth and value enhancement for the company.
