BMW: deliveries down 4% in 2024
(CercleFinance.com) - BMW Group Automotive has announced that it delivered 2.
45 million vehicles in 2024, down 4% on the previous year.
In detail, MINI recorded a 17.1% drop in deliveries, to 244,915 units, while Rolls-Royce deliveries were down 5.3%, to 5,712 units.
Nevertheless, the automaker reported a marked increase in deliveries of all-electric vehicles during the year, with +13.5% to 426,594 units.
The BMW and MINI brands recorded double-digit growth in BEV sales, at +11.6% and +24.3% respectively.
Despite difficult market conditions, the group maintained its growth trajectory, particularly in Europe. By 2024, electrified vehicles accounted for 24.2% of total sales, with 593,215 units delivered.
Finally, BMW Motorrad set a new record with 210,408 motorcycles and scooters sold (+0.6%).
