E.ON: successful bond issues at beginning of year

ON announces that it has successfully issued E1.75bn in bonds in the first few days of 2025, transactions that have generated strong investor demand, with a combined order book of over E4.3bn.

The German energy group says they consist of an E850m bond maturing in April 2033, with a 3.5% coupon, and a E900m green bond maturing in January 2040, with a 4% coupon.

Having successfully covered a large part of our financing requirements for 2025 as early as last year, we have now secured most of those remaining for this year at an early stage, CFO Nadia Jakobi said.
