Rolls-Royce: Starlux Airlines orders 10 Trent XWB97 engines

(CercleFinance.com) - Rolls-Royce announces that it has signed an agreement with Starlux Airlines for 10 Trent XWB-97 engines to power five Airbus A350Fs, confirming options at the Singapore Airshow in February 2024.


The Trent XWB-97 has proven its reliability and durability over its six years of service and more than three million flight hours, it says.

The engine will benefit from the £1bn investment we are making in the Trent engine family to improve durability and efficiency across all operations. We are proud to continue to support the expansion of STARLUX Airlines and look forward to supporting these new aircraft as they enter service, Rolls-Royce - Civil Aerospace said.
