Target goes on the offensive in the wellness market
(CercleFinance.com) - US mass retailer Target announced on Thursday the launch of a product offensive in the wellness market, with the introduction of 2,000 new items, half of which will be priced under $10.
In beverages, the discount chain explains that it plans to offer a new type of strawberry-flavored Bloom formula based on colostrum and collagen.
The Minneapolis-based chain will also market prebiotic soda with a poppi cream flavor, as well as the Bero alcohol-free beer brand created by actor Tom Holland.
In nutrition, its catalog will now include Ka'Chava powdered dietary supplements and up&up protein shakes.
In the beauty sector, Target customers will have access to the Being Frenshe and Blake Brown hair care lines created by actresses Ashley Tisdale and Blake Lively respectively.
In the men's department, Target plans to stock the natural cosmetics brand Dr. Squatch, as well as the Papatui range created by actor Dwayne Johnson, aka 'The Rock'.
The retailer also plans to offer a new collection of 80 exclusive models of clothing and accessories from Cassey Ho's Blogilates brand, all priced under $40.
Target will also be strengthening its All in Motion sportswear line with the arrival of new items for children, men and women.
