Bayer: signs MoU with Neste

(CercleFinance.com) - Bayer announces the signature of a memorandum of understanding with Neste to develop the winter rapeseed industry as a feedstock for biofuels.


The companies will work together to create an ecosystem around this crop in the Southern Great Plains in the United States, with a planned launch in 2027 for TruFlex hybrid rapeseed, incorporating Roundup Ready and gin-resistant technologies.

This partnership aims to offer regenerative agricultural solutions while diversifying raw materials for renewable products.

Bayer and Neste will finalize a definitive agreement in 2025.
