Biophytis: refinancing transaction

(CercleFinance.com) - Biophytis announces the completion of a refinancing operation for a total target amount of 8.
6 million euros, enabling it to consolidate its financial structure thanks to the arrival of new investors, and to launch the OBA phase 2 study in the United States.

The operation combines a cash injection of 2.5 million euros and a debt-for-equity conversion, targeted at 6.1 million euros, to strengthen the financial structure of the biotech company specializing in age-related diseases.

We remain determined to use these new financial resources to support the clinical development of BIO101 in obesity and the signing of new partnerships with pharmaceutical companies in Asia", explains CEO Stanislas Veillet.
