BAE Systems: 5-year, $347m contract with NGA

(CercleFinance.com) - The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) announced today that it has awarded BAE Systems a five-year, $347m contract for the NERVE program, designed to modernize the NSG Consolidated Library (NCL), a geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) hosting system for the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG)

The initiative aims to transform this geospatial library into a cloud-based system, improving data access and analysis for NGA analysts.


NERVE will also enable new GEOINT capabilities and integrate sensors into a cloud-based content management system.

The work, carried out at several BAE Systems and NGA sites, includes major ongoing cloud deployments planned over the duration of the contract.
