Voltalia: 14% increase in capacity by 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - Voltalia reports that, at end-2024, it had a total capacity of 3256 megawatts (of which 2514 megawatts in operation) in its power plants under construction or in operation, up 14% on the previous year (+6% for power plants in operation alone).


The renewable energies group adds that in 2024 it will have won new electricity sales contracts for a total of 637 megawatts (+42% on 2023), of which 301 megawatts are already under construction, with the remainder to be built or sold from 2025.

Over the past year, Voltalia has also signed major partnership agreements in Egypt and Uzbekistan, which should fuel the flow of new electricity sales contracts over the coming months and years.
