Schneider Electric: Deutsche Bank raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Deutsche Bank announced on Tuesday that it had raised its price target for Schneider Electric from E225 to E230, while renewing its 'hold' recommendation on the stock.

In a research note, the broker said it expected the French electrical equipment manufacturer to report organic growth of 8.4% in Q4 when it publishes its annual results for 2024, scheduled for 20 February, above the consensus target of 8%.

For the full year, the broker expects organic sales growth of 7.2%, in line with the 6% to 8% range the group had set itself as its annual target.

Deutsche Bank also expects the operating margin (Ebita) for the second half of the year to be 0.3 percentage points higher than analysts' estimates.

The broker points out, however, that it is the 2025 outlook for the specialist in low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment that will attract the market's full attention. He nevertheless expects forecasts to be in line with investor expectations, despite the current economic and political uncertainties.
