Paramount: 'Sonic' franchise reaches a milestone
(CercleFinance.com) - Paramount Pictures announced on Monday that its film 'Sonic 3' had recently topped the $100m mark at the international box office and grossed over $187m in the US, for a cumulative total of over $312m to date.
With this performance, the animated franchise based on Sega's video game exceeds the $1bn mark at the global box office. Released respectively in February 2020 and April 2022, the first two installments in the series grossed a total of $725.2m worldwide.
