TotalEnergies: Saft batteries for Mirokaï robots

(CercleFinance.com) - Saft, TotalEnergies' battery subsidiary, has signed a contract with Enchanted Tools to supply rechargeable battery packs for the new generation of Mirokaï robots.


Custom-built at our Poitiers plant and based on our latest lithium-ion technology, these battery packs will power the Mirokaï robots developed by Enchanted Tools for up to eight hours.

The Mirokaï concept was developed in response to the surge in demand for humanoid robots, particularly in hospitals. AI functionalities enable them to interact with users and orient themselves autonomously.

To date, Saft has supplied battery packs for 28 Mirokaï robot prototypes. However, production is expected to grow rapidly in 2026 to meet Enchanted Tools' target of 100,000 humanoid robots over the next 10 years.
