Imerys: acquires Chemviron business

(CercleFinance.com) - Imerys announces that it has acquired the European diatomite and perlite business of Chemviron, a subsidiary of Calgon Carbon Corporation.
This activity generated sales of around E50m in 2024 and employs nearly 130 people.

With this operation, the mineral specialties group claims to have acquired three high-quality mining and industrial assets in France and Italy, thus completing its European presence in the diatomite and perlite fields.

This acquisition enables it to broaden its portfolio of products for filtration and life sciences, and to better satisfy its customers in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and filtration industries, it adds.
