URW: sells stake in Forum des Halles

(CercleFinance.com) - Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) announces the sale of a 15% stake in Westfield Forum des Halles, a big 77,600 m2 shopping center in central Paris, to CDC Investissement Immobilier, for a net sale price of E235m.


This iconic asset will now be owned by a joint venture between URW (50%), AXA IM Alts acting on behalf of clients (35%) and Caisse des Dépôts (15%). The real estate group will continue to manage the asset, which will remain fully consolidated by URW.

URW has now finalised or secured transactions worth E1.5bn since the beginning of 2024, which will reduce its proportional net debt accordingly, and says it is in active discussions for further disposals as part of its deleveraging plan.
