ABB: phase 2 for the energy savings calculator

(CercleFinance.com) - ABB announces that it has developed and launched phase 2 of its NEMA motor energy savings calculator, with the aim of adding functionality, while offering a more intuitive user experience.


This online tool, introduced earlier this year, enables users to compare the power consumption, costs and CO2 emissions of a motor currently in service with those of a new, highly efficient ABB motor.

Phase 3 of this tool, scheduled for late 2025, will add a generic search for different motor configurations, additional input capabilities and highly customisable reporting functions.

We are continually developing tools and technologies, such as the Energy Savings Calculator, that promote energy efficiency, decarbonization and circularity, while ensuring that our customers benefit from our solutions and contribute to a more environmentally friendly future, said ABB's NEMA motors division said.
