ING: cash distribution to shareholders

(CercleFinance.com) - ING announces its decision to pay E0.
161 per share on 16 January, as part of the distribution to shareholders of up to E2.5bn announced on 31 October, aimed at converging its CET1 ratio towards its target of around 12.5%.

The Dutch bank explains that this amount to be paid per share has been determined on the basis of a total cash payment of E500m and the 3.096 million ordinary shares in issue at 31 December 2024.

In addition to the cash payment, the distribution also consists of a share buyback program of up to E2bn, which is currently being implemented and is due to end on 30 April 2025 at the latest.
