EssilorLuxottica: acquires Pulse Audition

(CercleFinance.com) - EssilorLuxottica has announced the acquisition of Pulse Audition, a French startup offering AI-integrated algorithm-based noise reduction and voice enhancement solutions for the hearing impaired.


The optical giant explains that through this transaction, it will have proprietary devices and software that will complement and enhance the quality of its products and solutions over the long term, and will be able to draw on a high-caliber team.

Management says that it is always on the lookout for market opportunities in AI and big data, with this acquisition in France perfectly fitting in with its long-term objectives and investments in hearing solutions.
