Nexans: has completed the sale of AmerCable

(CercleFinance.com) - Nexans announced today the completion of the sale of AmerCable, a leading producer of power, control and instrumentation cables for hostile environments, to Mattr, for an enterprise value established at US$280 million.


' The completion of this transaction marks another important step in our drive to refocus the Group on electrification and simplify our portfolio', commented Christopher Guérin, CEO of Nexans.

This divestment is in line with Nexans' long-term strategy and will enable the Group to strengthen its focus on its core business of electrification, the Group's press release assures.
