Renault: improves market share in France in 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault says it will remain No.
1 in the French PC+LCV market (passenger cars and light commercial vehicles), with 391,882 vehicles sold in 2024 and a market share of 18.7%, up 0.5 point in ab automotive market that is down slightly (-2.5%).

Renault retains pole position in the PC market, with 277,297 registrations and a market share up 0.5 point to 16.1%. Renault Clio remains the best-selling vehicle in France, with 102,790 registrations in 2024, all channels combined.

It also boasts volume increases of 30.2% for hybrid vehicles and 37.5% for 100% electric vehicles, thus significantly improving its market shares in these two segments to 24.7% and 17.4% respectively.

Renault also remains market leader in light commercial vehicles (LCVs), with 114,585 registrations, a market share up 0.3 point to 30%, and three vehicles on the podium (Master, Trafic, Kangoo).
