CNP Assurances: JV with La Mutuelle Générale
(CercleFinance.com) - CNP Assurances and La Mutuelle Générale have announced the creation of CNP Assurances Protection Sociale, 65% owned by CNP Assurances Holding and 35% by La Mutuelle Générale, effective 31 December 2024.
Following on from the plan, announced on 29 February, to create a structuring partnership, CNP Assurances Protection Sociale is positioned as a leading player in the field of social protection (individual and group health and provident insurance). The new company will draw on the 1,300 employees of La Mutuelle Générale who have joined it, and more than twenty CNP Assurances employees will also be seconded to support the integration of this new structure. With 1.4 million people protected and estimated sales of over E900m at start-up, it will be driven to develop with ambitious aims supported by their pooled capacities.
