(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announced last night that it had acquired more than 300,000 shares last week under the second tranche of its share buyback program, launched last September, for a total of more than 56 million euros.
In a financial notice, the aircraft manufacturer states that it acquired 360.186 shares based on a unit price of 157.1826 euros during the five trading sessions between December 16 and 20.
The share buyback program, approved by shareholders on April 10, is intended to feed employee profit-sharing plans.
