USA: -1.1% durable goods orders in November
(CercleFinance.com) - After a sequential increase of 0.
8% in October, US durable goods orders fell by 1.1% in November, according to data from the Commerce Department.
However, excluding the particularly volatile transportation sector (-2.9% in November), US durable goods orders fell by just 0.1% last month.
Meanwhile, shipments of durable goods by US industry fell by a total of 0.1% month-on-month in November, but rose by 0.4% excluding the transportation sector.
