Advicenne: share price rises following agreement with Primex

(CercleFinance.com) - Advicenne shares rose sharply on the Paris Bourse on Friday, in the wake of the pharmaceutical company's announcement that it had finalized an agreement with Switzerland's Primex.


This settlement - which corresponds to the restructuring of contracts signed in 2016 - will enable Advicenne to receive 3.5 million euros, half of which (1.75 million euros) by the end of the year.

The balance will be paid over the next 18 months, bearing in mind that Advicenne may also obtain additional amounts for commercial rights outside Europe.

The license concluded with Primex concerned the marketing of the pediatric anesthetic Ozalin.

This agreement - reached after several months of discussions between the two parties - removes a long period of uncertainty surrounding these contracts, while extending its financial visibility until the end of the second quarter of 2025.

At around 11:45 a.m., the share price was up by just under 12%, one of the biggest gains on the Paris Bourse, but still down by more than 32% since the start of the year.
