Vinci: signs two contracts in the Czech Republic
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Construction has won two contracts to build transport infrastructure for the Czech Republic's Ministry of Transport.
Eurovia CZ and Stavby mostu, Vinci Construction's Czech subsidiaries, will build - in a 50/50 joint venture with the Austrian PORR group - a new section of Prague's eastern bypass.
With a length of 12.6 km, it will reduce through-traffic in the capital. Work, costing a total of €385 million, will start in the first quarter of 2025 and is scheduled for completion in 2027.
In Ceská Třebová (Bohemia), the consortium led by Eurovia CZ will be involved in modernizing the railway junction at Central Europe's largest freight station.
The works, worth a total of 663 million euros, will start in the first quarter of 2025 and are scheduled for completion in 2032.
