Viridien: Chairman and CEO functions to be combined

(CercleFinance.com) - Viridien announced on Thursday that it would be changing its governance structure following the appointment of its Chairman of the Board, Phillipe Salle, as CEO of Atos.


The specialist in geosciences for the oil industry says that the functions of Chairman and CEO will be temporarily combined as of April 30, 2025, in the person of Sophie Zurquiyah, its CEO since 2018.

This unified governance will last at the latest until the end of Sophie Zurquiyah's term of office as director, i.e. until the Annual General Meeting of 2026, when the governance system will be separated.

Philippe Salle, who has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2018, is due to become CEO of Atos next February following the finalization, made official this morning, of the financial restructuring of the technology services group.

He will be appointed Lead Director of Viridien, subject to the renewal of his directorship by the Annual General Meeting on April 30.
