EDF: early redemption of hubrodes bonds

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF has announced that it will exercise its early redemption option in respect of the hybrid Bonds issued on January 29, 2013, for a nominal amount of €1,250 million.


Redemption will take place on January 29, 2025, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Bonds.

EDF also specifies that it will not need to refinance part of the hybrid subordinated debt through the capital increase carried out in 2023 by converting OCEANEs into new shares.

EDF warns of the uncertainties associated with forward-looking statements, highlighting the risks and possible variations in future results.
