Suez: Banque des Territoires joins the Novasteam project

(CercleFinance.com) - Suez, majority shareholder in the Novasteam project, has announced its partnership with Banque des Territoires, with the aim of decarbonizing the Novacarb plant, which specializes in the production of sodium carbonate and bicarbonate.


The project, which includes two units for the preparation and energy recovery of CSR (solid recovered fuels), will supply 350 GWh of low-carbon heat and eliminate the use of coal.

Work began in September 2023 and is scheduled for completion in 2025, with commissioning scheduled for 2026.
