VusionGroup: share price rises with new US reference

(CercleFinance.com) - VusionGroup was the biggest riser on the SBF 120 index on Wednesday morning on the Paris Bourse, after winning a new contract in the US, where the group already counts the giant Walmart as a customer.

The former SES-imagotag announced this morning that it had been selected by The Fresh Market to digitize all 166 stores of the US food retailer.

In a press release, the French group states that it will supply the chain, founded in 1982 and present in the Midwest, East and South of the United States, with its multicolored electronic labels, as well as its computer vision technology integrating artificial intelligence.

The contract also covers its 'Captana' shelf tracking and out-of-stock detection application, as well as its 'Memory Store Analytics' data analysis software.

These technologies are scheduled to be deployed in all the company's outlets by the end of 2025.

At around 10am, VusionGroup shares were up over 9%, bringing their year-to-date gains to 7%, compared with an annual decline of almost 3% for the SBF 120 index.
