Vinci: freeway commissioning in the Czech Republic

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci announces that a freeway (named D4) has been commissioned in the Czech Republic as part of a 28-year public-private partnership, representing an investment of around 530 million euros.


Completed in less than four years, the project comprises 32 km of new construction and the rehabilitation of 16 km of existing roads.

Vinci Construction has mobilized up to 1,600 workers, while maintenance will be carried out by Vinci Highways for 24 years.

The worksite incorporated environmental solutions, with recycling of materials, solar production and wildlife facilities.

The D4 improves mobility between South Bohemia and the routes to Germany and Austria, emphasizes Vinci.
