Assystem: emissions reduction target validated by SBTi
(CercleFinance.com) - Assystem has announced that its short-term greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative.
The company is committed to reducing its absolute emissions by 42% for scopes 1 and 2, and by 51.6% per full-time equivalent employee for scope 3 by 2030, using 2022 as the base year. These targets include energy consumption, business travel and purchased goods. SBTi has confirmed that Assystem's ambition is compatible with the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
