Assa Abloy: acquisition of Roger in Poland

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday, Assa Abloy announced the acquisition of Roger, a Polish manufacturer of electronic control access systems, for an undisclosed sum.


In a press release, the Swedish locksmith giant explains that this acquisition is in line with its strategy of strengthening its core activities by acquiring complementary businesses and products.

Founded in 1991, Roger employs around one hundred people at its offices and factory in Gosciszewo, and boasts over five million users.

Its sales in 2023 were around ten million euros, with a 'solid' level of operating margin, meaning that the operation will be accretive from the outset.
