Kone: wins contract to equip hospital in Sweden

(CercleFinance.com) - Kone announces that the company has won a contract to supply People Flow solutions to the new emergency hospital in Västerås, Sweden, built by NCC for the Västmanland region.


Scheduled for completion in 2029, the 75,000m² facility will include operating theatres, radiology, an emergency clinic, intensive care units and maternity wards.

The project includes 15 KONE MonoSpace700 DX elevators, 2 KONE MiniSpace DX elevators and 3 KONE TranSys DX elevators.

The installations will be tested in 2028.
