Aviva: Jefferies raises price target

(CercleFinance.com) - Jefferies has reaffirmed its 'buy' recommendation on Aviva, with a price target raised from 550 to 560 pence, judging in particular that the British insurer's shares remain cheap at less than 10 times expected EPS for 2025.


"With an offer for Direct Line (of 275 pence) apparently accepted, we believe that while this deal offers attractive financial and strategic prospects, the integration risks are also significant", the broker also points out.
