BASF: increases ammonium chloride production
(CercleFinance.com) - BASF announces that it has increased its ammonium chloride production capacity by 50% at its Ludwigshafen site (Germany), "while improving product quality", says the company.
BASF refers to a 'more efficient' manufacturing process, designed to meet growing demand.
' The start-up of our new facility is a key step in guaranteeing the future supply of ammonium chloride to our customers", says Dr. Jan Nouwen, Senior Vice President Isocyanates and Precursors Europe, BASF.
BASF's ammonium chloride is used in a wide range of sectors, including food, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, and now benefits from an optimized production process that meets the strict standards of food and animal feed applications.
