Dassault Systèmes: 3DEXPERIENCE chosen by Red Eléctrica

(CercleFinance.com) - Dassault Systèmes has announced that, following a call for tenders, Red Eléctrica has chosen its cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE platform to support information management processes relating to the technical assets of the Spanish power grid.


Its 'Integrated Built Environment' solution will connect over 1,500 stakeholders via a virtual twin to visualize the ecosystem of electrical assets, from transmission lines to detailed substation equipment.

Cloud collaboration and a common data environment will contribute to efficiency and innovation to build a resilient grid integrating renewable energy sources, the enterprise software provider adds.
