STMicro: launches a new series of microcontrollers

(CercleFinance.com) - STMicroelectronics has announced the launch of its STM32N6 microcontroller series, featuring for the first time a gas pedal dedicated to machine learning, the ' Neural-ART Accelerator '.


These microcontrollers offer ML performance 600 times greater than that of current models in the STM32 range, enabling advances in computer vision, audio processing and sound analysis for energy-efficient embedded systems.

According to the press release, this product inaugurates 'a new era for AI microcontrollers', and demonstrates the convergence of energy efficiency and analytical power for modern IoT applications.
