AutoZone: EPS virtually unchanged in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - AutoZone reports near-stable EPS of $32.
52 for its first quarter 2024-25, and operating profit down 0.9% to $841 million, on revenues of $4.3 billion (+1.8% at comparable stores and constant exchange rates).

The automotive equipment and accessories retailer highlighted a rise in same-store DIY (do it yourself) sales, with improving trends in both average ticket and footfall.

"We are well positioned for growth as we approach the remainder of the year, as our initiatives to improve customer service and increase market share are on track", says CEO Phil Daniele.
