Carrefour: share buyback plan finalized
(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour announced on Monday evening that it had finalized the €700 million share buyback program it had announced in February.
In a press release, the retail group said it had acquired over 47.6 million shares at an average price of €14.69 per share.
Carrefour also said it had bought back a further 92,734 shares at an average price of €14.26 per share.734 additional shares at an average price of 14.26 euros per share.
These shares, together with others currently held in treasury and not earmarked for cancellation, are intended to cover the allocation of shares required for the 2022 performance share plans likely to be delivered next February to the group's employees, explains the retailer.
