Air Liquide: European grant for ENHANCE project

(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide announces that it has received a E110m grant from the European Innovation Fund for its ENHANCE project, designed to produce and distribute low-carbon, renewable hydrogen derived from ammonia.


As part of this project, it intends to build, own and operate a first-of-its-kind large-scale renewable ammonia cracking plant and an innovative hydrogen liquefier in the Belgian port of Antwerp-Bruges.

This new facility would contribute to the decarbonization of a wide range of customers with the highest CO2 emissions, such as refineries, the chemical industry, as well as heavy road, sea and air transport, the industrial gas group said.
