Syensqo: cancellation of shares following share buybacks

(CercleFinance.com) - Syensqo announced on Friday evening that it had cancelled 658,488 shares bought back under the first 50 million tranche of its ongoing 300 million euro share buyback program.


Following the operation, the capital of the Belgian chemicals group stood at over 1.35 billion euros, with a new total number of shares and voting rights (denominator) of some 105.2 million.

Syensqo shares, up by almost 2% on Monday morning, are still down by around 20% since the start of the year.
