Alstom: 35 RER NG trainsets ordered for Île-de-France

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces an order worth almost E520m, to supply SNCF Voyageurs with 35 additional RER NG trainsets for the RER E line of the Île-de-France Mobilités network, under the framework contract signed in 2017.


Specially designed for the Île-de-France region and manufactured by nine of our sites in France, the RER NG represents a real asset for modernizing the network and improving the passenger experience, Alstom France said.

The firm tranche of the RER NG contract signed in 20217 included the delivery of 71 trainsets. A further 60 trainsets were ordered in 2023. To date, 166 RER NGs have been ordered, including 130 for RER E and 36 for RER D.
