Prudential: the EU has authorized the creation of a company
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the creation of a joint venture by TPG (USA) and The Prudential Assurance Company Limited (PACL), controlled by M&G plc (M&G), both established in the UK.
The transaction mainly concerns the real estate sector. The Commission concluded that the notified operation would not raise competition concerns, given its limited impact on the European Economic Area.
