Holcim: North American spin-off in H1 2025

(CercleFinance.com) - Holcim says it is making progress towards the complete separation of its North American activities, planned through a 100% demerger from a company to be listed on the NYSE, which should take place by the end of H1 2025.


The demerged entity will be a domestic issuer under SEC rules, with GAAP accounts and inclusion in US indices. An additional listing on the SIX Swiss Exchange is planned for European investors.

The Swiss building materials group adds that this demerger project will be subject to shareholder approval at its annual general meeting scheduled for 14 May, as well as other customary authorizations.
