Neoen: sells assets in Australia
(CercleFinance.com) - Neoen announces that it has signed an agreement with HMC Capital for the sale of its portfolio of operating assets and renewable energy projects located in the state of Victoria, Australia, for an enterprise value of A$950m (c.
E580m).
The divested portfolio comprises 652 MW of operating assets, namely Bulgana Green Power Hub, Numurkah Solar Farm and Victorian Big Battery, as well as 2.8 GW of projects under development, including over 1.5 GW of wind projects and 1.3 GW of storage projects.
This sale is part of Brookfield's commitment to obtain the approval of the Australian Competition Commission (ACCC) required to complete the acquisition of a majority stake in Neoen.
