Saint-Gobain: cancels 5 million treasury shares

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain announced today that it has cancelled 4,959,746 treasury shares purchased on the market.


Following this operation, the total number of shares making up the capital amounts to 499 million shares and the number of shares in circulation to 497 million shares, compared with 502 million at the end of December 2023.

An amount of 420 million euros has been allocated by the Group to the repurchase of its own shares in 2024 (net of transactions linked to employee shareholding).

With 2 billion euros of share repurchases carried out since 2021, the Group has reached, one year ahead of schedule, its target announced in 2021 as part of its 'Grow & Impact' plan (2021-2025).
