Accenture: German acquisition in 'SDV' design
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday, Accenture announced the acquisition of AOX, a German company specializing in architectures and software for automotive design.
In a press release, the technology consulting group explains that the operation will enable it to help its customers develop their software-defined vehicle (SDV) projects more rapidly.
AOX, whose main clients are German automakers and equipment suppliers, is based in Villingen-Schwenningen, with branches in Karlsruhe, Rosenheim and Wetzlar.
Its teams of some 50 employees are to join the 'Industry X' industrial engineering division set up by Accenture.
The financial terms of the operation were not specified.
