BAE Systems: investing in learning & training
(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems that it will recruit more than 2,400 new apprentices, students and graduates in 2025, reaching a record 6,500 people in training, representing around 15% of its UK workforce.
A planned £230 million investment in education and skills next year will bring the total spent since 2020 on improving the skills of UK workers to more than £1 billion.
By 2025, nearly 1,300 apprentices will join the company, mainly in the north of England, the company says.
BAE Systems is also emphasizing diversity, stating that 30% of its new apprentices will be women.
Applications for apprenticeships are open until February 28, 2025.
