J&J: FDA green light for MemoryGel breast implants

(CercleFinance.com) - J&J announces that Mentor Worldwide LLC, the world's leading brand in breast aesthetics and a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, has received FDA approval for its MemoryGel Enhance breast implants for primary and secondary post-mastectomy reconstruction in women.


These silicone implants - ranging from 930 cc to 1445 cc - offer unprecedented options for patients requiring larger volumes, responding to a long-neglected demand.

Their commercial launch is scheduled for mid-2025 in the US.

Supported by the three-year results of the ATHENA study, this breakthrough aims to improve aesthetic results and meet the diverse expectations of breast reconstruction patients.
