Alstom: 1 million shock absorbers produced in China in 25 years

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces that its 51%-owned Chinese subsidiary, Alstom Qingdao Railway Equipment, has produced its one millionth shock absorber and celebrated its 25th anniversary.


Created in 1999 in partnership with CRRC Qingdao Sifang, the company manufactures and markets shock absorbers for various types of trains under the Dispen brand.

These products, based on French technologies, are exported to many countries, including Singapore, where the one millionth shock absorber will be delivered.

'Dispen, a supplier designated by the Chinese Ministry of Railways, stands out for its continuous innovation and its key role in the rail sector', Alstom points out.
